This work is a movement still as part of my movement project, Dancestors. In it, ancestors are summoned through mirrored dance moves, as though summoning an alternate realm. The figures that appear in the juxtaposition of symmetrical positions appeared by coincidence, like ancestral energies revealing their existence. Through the cathartic movement of dance, the artist is able to channel mysterious ancestral powers and connect them through body and form.
