Four silhouettes made of earth and stone dance into the layers of this planet we call home - crust, outer mantle, inner mantle, inner core. The core glows as the figures dance into it, a great orb of burning energy propelling the Earth’s ecosystems. Each figure’s movement fills the puzzled void of the other, our interpersonal stories shaping the essence of these ephemeral lifetimes. People who have had near-death experiences often describe seeing a bright, blinding light which draws them into its gleam.
