Earthlings, Dancing into the Earth's Core - Fine Art Eco Tote - FAIR WEAR
Kassy Kova's original mixed media painting, Earthlings, Dancing into the Earth's Core, aims to encapsulate some vestige of the human experience, by depicting both its universality and its impermanence. Four silhouettes made of earth and stone dance into the layers of this planet we call home - crust, outer mantle, inner mantle, inner core. The core glows as the figures dance into it, a great orb of burning energy propelling the Earth’s ecosystems. Each figure’s movement fills the puzzled void of the other, our interpersonal stories shaping the essence of these ephemeral lifetimes. People who have had near-death experiences often describe seeing a bright, blinding light which draws them into its gleam. No matter your skin color, your gender, your sexual orientation, your nationality, or your political views, one thing is certain: you will die. And that fleshy remnant of you once tethered to the Earth will either decompose or burn into its atmosphere, returning to the source. What, then, remains? And returns to the core?
This tote is not only art you can carry—it is a socially responsible choice. Crafted from 100% recycled open-end, pre-washed cotton, and approved by FAIRWEAR.org, it honors both earth and humanity. Every stitch supports ethical labor, reduced environmental impact, and a more intentional way of living.
